Grace Kaya is a multi-disciplinary, multi-sensory performing artist and teacher with over 20 years of facilitating and performing experience. She has traveled the world sharing dance, circus, music and yoga workshops and performances for both children and adults alike. Some highlights from her performance career include facilitating workshops in Germany, Norway, Sweden, Switzerland & Australia, dancing on street corners in Thailand, in clubs on tour with a Hindi pop singer in India, dancer on a cruise ship in Mexico, dancing with big name artist like Rihanna, Ricky Martin, Seal, Mstr Krft, Bobby McFerrin, and K-OS, cameoing in 14 music videos and the Universal studios Honey movie, soloing in choreography by Mia Michaels in New York City, opening for 50 Cent, Jay-Z and Cyndy Lauper in Toronto... and even having her unique Liquid style captured for characters in an X-Box video game.
While in her teens she trained and performed with a circus troupe for 5yrs, with a focus on the aerial apparatus spinning hoop and as a member of a stacking bike team.
As a singer-songwriter she's written, recorded and independently released 4 albums of music; and her artPLAY acrylic paintings have exhibited in 3 countries.
Grace is a certified yoga instructor, healing arts practitioner and group facilitator specializing in Kids, Flow, Hatha, Vinyasa & Restorative yoga. She uses the arts as a means to encourage and inspire self esteem and team building within many specialty groups. Supporting disengaged or marginalized communities, youth with mental health issues and seniors.
It brings her great joy to support others as they connect with their own authentic artistry and personal potential, while striving to showcase and express passion for Art and Life with Authenticity, Humility, Humor & Gratitude.
