The REd light project

 "The Red Light Project", supported by the Toronto Arts Council, is a partnership between SoCirC and Sketch.  SKETCH is a Toronto organization that creates opportunities for young people (ages 16 to 29) living street involved, homeless or otherwise on the margins, to experience the transformative power of the arts; a perfect fit to be hosting this project. We will be running free Social Circus workshops through spring and creating short circus vignettes inspired by the quick red light street performances in many parts of South America.  The group will have opportunities to perform these short vignettes at Pedestrian Sundays Kensington, a play in the idea of Red Light Performances, and being performed amongst pedestrian traffic.  A free hot lunch is available before every workshop.
